Chlorination Building Control System /
Project Overview
Trility, an established leader in water, wastewater, reuse, and bio-solids solutions across Australia and New Zealand, engaged Tier16 to support the delivery of control systems software for a new chlorination dosing building built for Rio Tinto.
The project involved auditing the existing control system and designing, testing, and validating a new control system to ensure reliable chlorination processes in a critical water treatment facility.
Client Challenge
Trility required an independent audit and review of the control system against contract specifications and software standards.
Following the audit, Tier16 were requested to improve upon the existing works.
The project timeline was tight, with only four weeks to complete the audit, provide recommendations, and develop new software.
Shortly after, Tier16 was also tasked with setting up a control system for a second dosing building, requiring rapid deployment under strict schedule constraints.
Tier16 Solution
Tier16 conducted a comprehensive audit and enhancement of the water treatment control systems, assessing design, configuration, and operational readiness to ensure compliance with technical requirements and alignment with best practices.
